Lindsey Duquette
Coordinator, Corporate Partnerships
Lindsey serves as NephCure’s Corporate Partnerships Coordinator and holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Loyola University Maryland. A rare kidney disease patient herself, Lindsey was diagnosed with Nephrotic Syndrome when she was two years old. The disease was later discovered to be Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis (FSGS). As a result of lack of treatment options, Lindsey experienced 172 hospitalizations and 22 surgeries over the course of 8 years in a failed effort to save her native kidneys. Lindsey experienced peritoneal and hemodialysis, has been on countless combinations of medications (including prednisone, rituximab, and Cytoxan), and received a living donor kidney transplant in June 2012. Post-transplant life has been transformative, allowing her to pursue her passions of painting, playing several musical instruments, and video games.
Lindsey understands first-hand the journey of a rare disease patient and has dedicated herself to advocating for better healthcare and treatment options for all kidney patients.
