Michael Levine

Michael Levine is a New York native who resides in Melville, NY and is a proud husband to Dana, and father of daughter Sydney and son Matthew. Michael is a graduate of Syracuse University with study focus in Political Science and Economics. Professionally, he has served as the President of L&L Painting for over 15 years. In 2006, at the age of 2, Matthew was diagnosed with FSGS. Michael quickly found NephCure and has been actively committed to its mission ever since. He has been an active member of NephCure’s Board of Directors for over 10 years and has been serving on the board’s Executive Committee for most of that time. Michael has been annually running and expanding the organization’s signature event, ‘Countdown to a Cure’ building upon its success from fellow board member Ron Cohen, in addition to conducting the annual ‘All-in for a Cure’ golf and banquet event for many years. These events have raised millions of dollars to support NephCure’s mission. Time with family and routinely connecting with and supporting patients and families are the hallmarks of Michael’s desire to help others.
