Krista Kingston

Community Leader

Krista Kingston was introduced into the world of kidney disease just before her son turned three. He was diagnosed with FSGS.  Krista and her husband were trained on peritoneal and hemodialysis to do at home after her son’s failed transplant from Krista when he was 9. She continued to advocate for normalcy in her son’s life as well as educating those in her community regarding kidney disease. She works at a local high school with students and teachers in the dual credit area as well as coordinating with colleges and universities. She also coaches the Varsity tennis team.  She also keeps busy with her grown children and grandchildren.
