Brittney Parris, MS, RD, CDN

Director, Patient Education

Brittney Parris, MS, RD, CDN, joined NephCure in May 2023 as Associate Director of Patient Education and now serves as the Director of Patient Education. Brittney has a background in biology and clinical nutrition, is a registered dietitian, and completed her clinical training at Duke University Hospital. She brings extensive experience working with patients and their families in several major healthcare systems in New York.

Brittney has served as a clinical dietitian in both inpatient and outpatient settings for children, adolescents and adults, and as a clinical nutrition and patient experience manager, mentoring and supervising staff. Brittney’s work has consistently centered around empowering patients and families with the knowledge needed to take charge of their health and feel confident in making lifestyle changes. She also brings experience working in child and adolescent psychiatry in a care coordination capacity.

Brittney has a true love for biology and a passion for making scientific literature tangible for patients and caregivers. As a native Brooklynite, Brittney loves all things New York, including food, fashion and catching a breeze on her stoop with her German Shepherd, Chance.
