Lauren Eva

Lauren Eva directs the implementation of NephCure’s strategic vision as the Chief Operating Officer. Since joining NephCure in 2014, she’s been privileged to meet many inspiring patient families, witness a multitude of discoveries in research and advances in clinical care, and see NephCure help usher in a new era of potential new treatments for people impacted by rare, protein-spilling kidney diseases.

Lauren has a B.A. in International Relations from Michigan State University. She lived in Detroit, Colombia, Chicago, and Philadelphia, serving in various other educational and community-based nonprofit roles, before returning to her hometown in northern Michigan to raise her young daughters. She serves on the board of education of her local public school and co-founded a nature-based Montessori preschool in 2020.
