Elise Warhaftig

Community Leader

Elise lives in the Boston area with her husband and her two children. Her oldest son, Andrew, lost his battle with FSGS in the Spring of 2018 at the age of 17 after many years on dialysis and two kidney transplants. Elise spent a significant amount of her time managing Andrew’s medical care at Boston Children’s Hospital ad she was relieved to have found NephCure early on in this process to help her connect with other patient families and receive educational resources and support. In 2020, Elise was the recipient of NephCure’s Humanitarian of the Year Award for her outstanding contributions.
