Destiny Lalonde

Destiny (Des) Lalonde serves as NephCure’s Associate Director of Content and Creative Strategy. Since joining the team in November 2022, Destiny has a passionate commitment to serving patients and families affected by rare kidney disease. Destiny immerses herself in learning, writing, and crafting content tailored to their needs while gaining newfound knowledge about NephCure’s patient community and making important connections to ensure each journey is filled with hope and guidance. Known for her proactive and empathetic approach, she eagerly embraces new challenges and continuously seeks innovative ways to educate and support the rare kidney disease community.

Destiny, a lifelong Southern California native, graduated in 2021 with a B.A. in Communications from California State University, Fullerton. Following a brief career detour as a private investigator, she now pursues her passion for writing novels and poetry, exploring new culinary destinations, and spending quality time with her partner and her fur-child, Hermes.
