Shannon Mulroy
Community Leader
Shannon's daughter, Julia was diagnosed with FSGS at the age of 15. She was transplanted at the age of 16 and had recurrence. Shannon is actively involved volunteering with NephCure and serving on patient/caregiver advisory boards for the NEPTUNE Study and the CureGN study. She also volunteers as a living donor advocate for Kidney Solutions and LiveonNY. She enjoys public speaking and educating about the importance of organ donation. Shannon and her husband John donated their kidney altruistically. Julia is now in her 20s living life because someone saved hers. Julia also has a twin brother TJ.
