David Kershaw, MD

Co-Medical Director

David Kershaw is a Pediatric Nephrologist at CS Mott Children's Hospital at the University of Michigan. He has been active in patient care, research and administration over the past 30 years. Earlier in his career he led a NIH funded bench lab focused on Podocyte biology and is now focused on quality improvement for kidney transplant. Administratively, he serves as medical director of kidney transplant and as fellowship training program director. David was formerly division director for 18 years. David has extensive experience in the treatment of glomerular disease both in native kidneys and with recurrences post-kidney transplant. David finds it very gratifying to have the privilege of caring for patients from infancy to young adulthood.
