Jennifer Perry

Jen Perry was born in New Jersey but has been in the South since 1996.  After testing out several of the southern states, she found "home" in North Carolina in 2007.  She’s spent most of her career in Medical Device Quality Engineering, which prepared her in an odd way for her FSGS diagnosis in 2022 at the age of 51.  Never one to sit still, Jen began researching her diagnosis, learning all she could about her “new normal” and in the process, she found NephCure.  Knowing how isolating a Rare Kidney Disease diagnosis can feel, Jen wants to be a resource and build community, with NephCure’s help, so that we never feel alone in our fights.  She is divorced and doesn’t have any children but loves her dogs, cats and parrots.  When she isn’t working, she likes to spend her time outside in nature.  Jen looks forward to connecting with you!
