I probably had hundreds upon hundreds of relapses from age 2 until age 24 to the point where I was unresponsive to Predsnisone. I then had a Cytoxan/Prednisone combination and have been in remission for 23 years. I think that it’s important to tell the community of Nephrotic Syndrome patients so they have hope.

Please stay positive, and learn as much about your kidneys as possible — information will help you beat this. Every case is different, but a positive, strong attitude, healthy diet and exercise (when you’re not tired) will help you. Live your life and don’t let the disease control you.
