Coordinator, Content & Social Media Job Title: Coordinator, Content & Social Media Reports To: Associate Director, Marketing & Communications Location: Remote (Eastern Standard Time preferred) Start Date: 2022 NephCure Kidney International’s mission is to accelerate research for effective treatments for rare, protein-spilling kidney diseases, and to provide education and support that will improve the lives of those affected by these conditions. Position Summary The Content & Social Media Coordinator will work collaboratively with other members of the Marketing & Communications team to develop, execute, and deliver social media content and other written internal and external communications. As a member of the NephCure team, they will work in a fast-paced environment that values collaboration, innovation, diverse perspectives, and, most of all, a relentless determination to help those with rare kidney disease save their kidneys and live their best lives. Responsibilities Strategy and Creation Develop and curate original multimedia content (written, photo, video) designed to engage and inform our audiences while communicating marketing messages and accurately representing our brand. Lead overall organizational social media strategy across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Track and report on trends, pitching ideas to keep our social channels relevant. Schedule social posts (paid and organic). Write blog posts for NephCure.org, later optimizing them for SEO and social media purposes. Work with the Marketing & Communications team to create and execute social media ad campaigns. Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels. Review analytics and develop reports on key performance metrics. Content Coverage Plan and capture photos and videos at NephCure-hosted events. Produce live social media content at NephCure-hosted events. Analyze results and performance of social channels to inform the Marketing & Communications team of trends, successes, and opportunities. Required Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field. 1+ years of related experience with social media or content development. Expertise in multiple social media platforms, particularly Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to develop and deliver creative content (text, image, and video) Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premiere Pro) or equivalent digital media editing tools Highly organized with the ability to multitask, meet deadlines consistently, and prioritize. Thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. A self-starter, proactive in crafting new ideas and creatively solving problems. Ability to travel as needed. Work Environment & Considerations Candidates may live anywhere in the U.S. and work remotely. NephCure mainly operates on Eastern Standard Time; Eastern time zone is preferred, but not required.
