group shotRunners Raise over $48,000 in Falmouth Road Race 

Nine runners participated in the Falmouth Road Race, August 15, 2010, on behalf of The Nephcure Foundation, raising over $48,000 in honor of patients suffering from FSGS and Nephrotic Syndrome. 

The nine competitors ran in the race included, Dan Needel, Heather Harris, Lori Winters and Elise, running in honor of Elise’s son, Andrew; Greg Raftery participating in honor of his daughter Emma; Jennifer Bresciano and Nicole Fahey running in honor of Nick Bresciano; and Jeffrey Smith and Larry Weene running in honor of Will Broderick.

This was the first time that NephCure was designated as an official charity for the race. In total, 12,000 runners participated in the Falmouth Road Race.
