Team Toronto Raises $6K at Inaugural Event

The newly-formed Team Toronto held its inaugural event on Thursday, March 17 when Mark and Andrea Galbraith hosted the “Live Love Give” fundraising dinner that raised over $6,000 for The NephCure Foundation.

 Mark and Andrea’s daughter, Sophia, was diagnosed in 2010 with Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis (FSGS), and endured a difficult series of hospital stays, harsh treatments and emotional struggles.  The Galbraiths are taking action by organizing this fundraiser to benefit NephCure and raise awareness about the disease in their community.

The event was attended by over 70 guests and held at the Georgian Peaks-West Lodge located on Wensley Street in Blue Mountains.
