Inaugural Walk in Michigan Raises $13K

Team Michigan’s inaugural NephCure walk took place on Sunday, September 4, raising over $13,000 for NephCure’s fight against kidney disease.

Over 100 walkers took part in the event, joining several nephrologists from the University of Michigan Hospital. Rain held off at Hines Park in Dearborn Heights, MI, long enough for everyone to walk the two-mile route, enjoy breakfast, meet new friends and win some amazing raffle prizes. 

It was a great day for Team Michigan, and we are truly grateful to all who participated!
